In celebration of this week's Story Cycle Concert, we're taking a look back at our first conversation with Story Cycle Artist-in-Residence, Michelle J. Rodriguez, in Season Three. Michelle's work as a musical theatre songwriter has been featured around the country at notable theatres and programs including Portland Center Stage, Ars Nova, New York Theater Workshop, The Public Theater and many more. At the upcoming concert on April 22, she will perform some of her work, including the debut of some new material. The Story Cycle students she has mentored through the year will present their new works as well. In this inspiring episode, she shares her incredible journey as an artist, what she hopes for in the future of musical theatre, and the power of reaching for a dream that aligns with your values.
