Inspiring!

A Portrait of Us is a greatly needed, refreshing show that reminds Us of the importance of struggle, heritage, self-discovery, and self-love with glimpses of history, politics, and the arts as a means of personal and ethnic expression. I love listening to the audible journey Joseph Vazquez takes his listeners on as he paints a picture of himself, leading listeners to self-reflect and stand more firmly in their own identities. This show reinforces the value of celebrating our own creative processes by which we find ourselves in, forever reaching toward triumph despite life’s many obstacles. Well done, and keep it going!
