The Pico House
The Pico House is one of the oldest landmarks in Los Angeles. It was built by Pio Pico, the last Governor of California while it was under the rule of Mexico. The building’s purpose was to be the most luxurious hotel and it opened in 1870. Security staff claim to hear footsteps coming from the upper floors and seeing shadowy figures lurking. Like most of the haunted locations we cover, the Pico House had a very real, very tumultuous past.

Customer Reviews
Love the mix of spooky and true crime
Every time I listen I feel like I’m having a super fun, dorky chat about haunted places, history and true crime. Clark and Jen are a great “Mulder/Scully” like team.
If you dig creepy stuff, you’ll dig this
Jen and Clark are great! They dive into the spooky, the paranormal and the creepy. It’s very informative and fun!
Fantastic Podcast for Fans of Spooky and Strange Stuff
I’m a big fan of spooky and scary pods and this one fits the bill. Jen and Clark make a big effort to research their stories and have such an entertaining way of recounting the unexplained, creepy, and sometimes horrifying tales.
They also immediately pull you in with their charm and humor. You can tell they really enjoy working together and can hear the warmth in their voices.
Highly recommend!
