Every scandal begins with a lie. But the truth will come out. And then comes the fallout and the outrage.
Scandals have shaped America since its founding. From business and politics to sports and society, we look on aghast as corruption, deceit and ambition bring down heroes and celebrities, politicians and moguls. And when the dust finally settles, we’re left to wonder: how did this happen? Where did they trip up, and who is to blame? From the creators of American History Tellers, Business Wars and Tides of History comes American Scandal, where we take you deep into the heart of America’s dark side to look at what drives someone to break the rules and what happens when they’re caught. Hosted by Lindsay Graham.

Great Series

I like the neutral angle used on all the subjects. They don’t make them out to be bad or good, just human. I’ve done further reading on subjects and found the podcast versions to be very insightful.

Interesting but—

The background music is unpleasant and very noticeable and makes every topic sound related somehow. I share the concerns that come to light in the reporting, yet kind of resent the background sounds “telling” me how to feel. I also feel a different or occasional additional voice, perhaps female, might enliven this podcast and work better for female voice representation.

Spectacular

American scandal is brilliant. The narration is engaging and so professional, the subject matter each season is thought provoking and I always find myself on the edge of my seat. I always look forward to the notification of a new episode or season.
Lindsay does such a masterful job of creating a superb listening experience!
