A Transformation Story: Navigating Loss & Grief with Lindsay Astor Normalize The Conversation

    • Mental Health

It has been estimated that approximately 2.5 million individuals pass away in the United States every year. With the 2.5 million lives lost, each leaves behind an average of five grieving individuals. Grief is a regular response to loss or drastic changes in one’s life, but the journey of grief looks different for everyone.

Welcome to Normalize The Conversation, I am your host Francesca Reicherter and today I am joined by a mental health advocate who is passionate about normalizing the conversation on all things pertaining to mental health as she works to eradicate the stigma. Lindsay Astor holds a master’s in psychology and previously taught behavioral health science for eight years. As a teacher, she recognized the impact mental health has on students and as she began to struggle herself, she decided to start openly sharing her story.

Join us as Lindsay opens up about the grief she has experienced and what has helped her along the way.
