When is it okay for Christians to “Hit the Bar?” Amy and Michelle interview two people who love the Lord, and they – unfortunately – need to hit the bar more often than they’d like! It’s not about drinking — it’s about discerning truth from error. We’re talking about Steve Kozar and his wife Paulette, […]

Pull over - it's the Tone Police
A lot of Christian women seem to have the mistaken idea that “speaking the truth in love” equates to being “nice.” We should always be smiling and sweet and never say anything that might hurt someone’s feelings or could rock the boat. But what does the Bible say about our tone? Michelle and Amy dig […]
Why Aren't Mormons Christians? with Pastor Travis McNeely
You may have noticed that Mormons, or Latter-day Saints, believe that they should be considered “Christians” just like their Christian friends. However, there are stark differences in theology; differences that put Mormons – as kind as they are – in the heretical category. In this episode, Michelle and Amy interview Pastor Travis McNeely about what […]
Evangelical Pet Peeves - Part 2
In part two of our episode of “pet peeves” in evangelicalism – things Christians, churches, and ministries do that can irritate – Amy and Michelle share what our listeners had to say.
Sisters in the truth
I have to say being a new Christian can be difficult. BUT ladies like y’all present the word of God with TRUTH and it’s refreshing. I appreciate women like y’all because it makes an ex- pagan realize how to be a true woman of God. God bless you both and keep spreading the true word of God. Your sister in Christ Emily
A Chosen Superfan
I don’t think this podcast is a good source of truth.
They turned me off within the first 5 minutes of listening because of their review of The Chosen. Jonathan Roumie (who plays Jesus) openly admits that he is not divine. Jonathan is just thankful that God put him in this place where he can turn people back to the Bible. Dallas (the director and creator) publicly says he is not worthy of this position but he is thankful God handed him this place. We have to watch The Chosen for ourselves to decide if we can watch it. And if we decide negative, just keep it to ourselves.
If the Bible teachers speak to our spirits (if they check out against the Word), by all means listen to them.
Too bad there isn’t a zero star rating.
I look forward to every episode!
I adore these women and the effort they put into each episode! I discovered AWFS earlier this year when my pastor’s wife shared it with me. I’ve listened to every episode and just love every single one. In the modern age where biblical womanhood is looked down upon, I’ve found so much encouragement in the words these women share as they point women to Christ and encourage them to embrace the role God has created them to be in. Ranging from modesty to false teachers, I always look forward to joining in and listening to their episodes. Thank you for sharing truth faithfully!
