Kiva is an artist, multi-instrumentalist, producer, Ableton Certified Trainer, and owner of Adios Babylon Records.
Founding his record label in 2004 in NYC, Kiva has released numerous albums for a myriad of underground soul, hip hop, reggae, & dance music artists. He's released on labels including Adios Babylon, King Tubby's Dub Heritage Foundation, Haze St. Dub, Galaxy Soundstation, and others.
Kiva also performed alongside notable artists such as Lee Scratch Perry, Jay-Z, Shaggy, Midnite, Pressure Busspipe, Mykal Rose, Akae Beka, I Grade Dub, Kode 9, Joe Nice, RSD, and many more. Festival appearances include Sonar (Spain), Hove (Norway), Roskilde (Denmark), and Montreaux Jazz (Switzerland), and Kiva is a regular performer at the mystic Dub in the Rainforest festival in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
As a world-renowned Ableton Live Certified Trainer with over 15 years teaching experience, Kiva has taught Ableton and music production to 7000+ students worldwide.

#129 - Jaenga
Jaenga (Patrick) is a dubstep producer, DJ, and filmmaker. His journey in music and video began when he opened a film studio in NYC, gaining major label clients like Steve Aoki, Lil Wayne, Lorde, and working with MTV as a filmmaker. His portfolio includes creating video for companies like L’Oréal, Nike, Maybelline, Redken, etc. Patrick also traveled with Mt Eden shooting tour videos.
Patrick jumpstarted his music career after converting a school bus with a full stage and lighting rig, touring around America for years and growing a fanbase playing festivals. Eventually, Live Nation caught on and started booking him for larger festivals, and he was signed by Zeds Dead. Since then he’s released music on labels including Deadbeats, Subcarbon, Wakaan, UKF, and is quickly rising in the experimental bass/ dubstep music scene.

#126 - SubDocta
Preston Charles, aka SubDocta, exploded onto the scene in 2017 with his successful single “2009 Was Tight”, catching support from heavy hitters in bass music.
Since 2017, SubDocta has been featured on a number of high profile tours for some of the biggest names in dubstep, including Ganja White Night, Excision, Riot Ten, Dirt Monkey, Boogie T and Opiuo, to name a few. He has also headlined and sold out shows across the country, while performing at major North America festivals, including EDC Las Vegas, Bass Canyon, Electric Forest, Ever After, Dancefestopia, Lost Lands, and Wakaan Fest and others.
Becoming a fan favorite in dubstep while continuously being supported by his peers, SubDocta has released two full EP’s on SubCarbon Records, he inked a deal with Liquid Stranger’s “Wakaan Records” in 2021 for multiple EPs and his debut album slated for March of 2022. SubDocta also recently announced his debut headline tour “Strictly Business Tour” to kick off in January with support from SFAM, Abelation and Zingara. With over 40 cities on the upcoming tour, and new music releasing every month, SubDocta will be going into 2022 with all arrows pointing up. This will undoubtedly be his biggest year to date.

The podcast rules. It’s got some nerdy bits for Ableton users, but 96% of it is good for any musician. Great chats with music-makers who are making it happen. Dan is a great interviewer.
