Prof Marcelo is a 4 x World Champion, 3 x Pan American, 4 x Brazilian National Champion and is also the only person to ever win 3 MMA fights in one night in Brazil.
“Uirapuru” known by his nickname is a Black Belt under Vinicius “Draculino” Magalhães. Marcelo filled in Draculino’s boots as head Coach of Gracie Barra Belo Horizonte Headquarters after the departure of the famous instructor to the United States.
Besides being a decorated Competitor himself he has been a part of the development of many World Champions like Felipe “Preguiça”, Gabriel Arges, Pedro Araujo and many others.
It’s been a big pleasure to know “Uirapuru” over 20 years and to see his success over the years in all that he does. He owns and operates GB Pearland in the Houston Texas Area.
