We Drafted Our Favorite Against Me! Songs

This one's not like the others. It's four pals in a room doing an Against Me! song draft while drinking Rainiers and eating junk. It's dumb and wonderful and only on Patreon: patreon.com/afterthedeluge

    Against Me! 12" (1999) w/ Jordan Kleeman

    Against Me! 12" (1999) w/ Jordan Kleeman

Jordan Kleeman started Crasshole Records as a teenager and put out several early Against Me! EPs including this legendary self-titled 12” record. We talk about the first version of “Walking is Still Honest,” why this beautiful record sounds like shit, a decade of touring with Against Me!, and holding down that synth-key note on “8 Hours of Full Sleep.” Just a wonderful person and a perfect boomerang back to the beginning of this band’s story.

Against Me! Season

The versatility Justin shows on this Podcast is spectacular and creative on his part. The similarities between Jackson Brown and Laura Jane Grace seem miles apart unless you’re a huge fan of both of them like me. In that case, doing separate seasons on both of them makes perfect sense. The AM! season was one of the best things I’ve seen or listened to in a long time. The guests were up to date on Laura Jane Grace and Against Me! and literally experts on the album they were covering as was Justin. The final episode with Laura was the best! Laura was so open and honest about everything and I wanted to be in that conversation so badly. Looking forward to see what Justin comes up with for season four!

Against Me!

Great season on AM! discography. Love the variety of interviews, culminating with Laura Jane Grace. Thanks for the impressive work.

Deep dives on favs that are sometimes mine

Great interviews with tried and true artists, journalists, and their friends and well wishers. Not every artist is my personal favorite (but a couple are). And the ones that aren’t are soon becoming regulars on my playlist because of the smart questions and thorough interviews. Always great to listen to, and a good reminder to dive deeper on those I've loved, and those I am discovering. Even though I am an awful pedant, and disagree with the majority of Justin’s opinions. 5 out of 5.
