Peace is hard to find. Planet earth and the environment is at risk. News of wars still dominates our news. Life is full of difficulties and challenges; relationships breakdown, health can fail, poverty can strike, and anxiety can feed on our fear of what might happen even when it probably won't. But today I want to explain the good news of the gospel; how followers of Jesus have a spiritual passport that allows us to experience perfect peace. A peace that Paul the apostle describes as beyond understanding. A peace that the does not come from our state of mind, our circumstances, our past, our future or our present but on the very presence of God Himself in our lives and the truth and light that the teachings of Jesus brings to our minds.
