    Only One Boast!

    Only One Boast!

Nobody likes being weak. We tend to do all that we can to hide or do away with our weaknesses. The apostle Paul, however, sees weakness as the exact place where Jesus can and does meet with us. How can we learn to boast in our weaknesses as areas of God’s grace?

    An Angel of Light

    An Angel of Light

Do not be deceived, wolves eat sheep! Today, Paul focuses our attention on the sad reality that even within the church, there are wolves-in-sheep’s-clothing. These wolves constitute the people and worldviews that promote a different Jesus, or a different spirit, or a different gospel, and thus encourage us to replace the Most High with a god that looks surprisingly like me. Such has been the trap of Satan from the beginning! Today, Jesus invites us to hear His voice calling us into real hope from the Shepherd-in-sheep’s-clothing; the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world!

    Boast in the Lord

    Boast in the Lord

Only God’s authority truly sets us free. All of us enjoy the notion of being in charge of our own lives, but the truth is that we never actually are, and to the degree we try to live as though we are, we walk into the trap of fear and shame. God tells us that we have an enemy in Satan, who is regularly setting such traps for us, and whose aim is to destroy us. Satan is the great deceiver, who hides in the shadows, convincing us he does not exist, so that he can manipulate our thoughts and imprison our hearts. But in Jesus, God has given us divine power to fight and win those battles! Hallelujah! Today, we not only unpack these realities, we also practice them. Come join us!

    Sowing & Reaping

    Sowing & Reaping

What kind of harvest are you pursuing with the whole of your life? The posture of our hands, reveals the perspective of our hearts, and the prospects of our harvest in this life! In order to engage in the equation of grace, whereby God promises that we will reap (even more) bountifully because we have sown bountifully, our hearts must first be open to who God is as the true Provider, who will never run out. Only then, will our hands be open with the “seed” we hold as most precious to us.

    Earnestly Going

    Earnestly Going

How do we know what God is calling us to do? The answer will always be rooted in shared passion with Him, confirmed through Spirit-filled believers and open doors, and marked with glory. This Palm Sunday we fix our eyes on Jesus and His calling, to help us understand our own.

    Rags to Riches

    Rags to Riches

Radical generosity produces radical generosity. If we have truly been transformed by the grace of Jesus, who was rich, but became poor so that we might become rich; then we will be people from whom such sacrificial generosity flows abundantly. All that we have is from God, and His desire is to work through us to answer the prayers of others in need. Our abundance therefore, is His assignment!
