    1.01: Pilot

First of all, you don’t know us. Second of all, you don’t know us. But you will get to know us during our premiere episode of Always and Forever, where we discuss the pilot episode of One Tree Hill. This week, we unpack why we love OTH so much, how the show can be hella problematic, Kaitlyn’s visit to the location where Lucas towed Peyton’s car, and Nathan being an absolute jerk. We’re Kaitlyn Ilinitch (@MissIReads) and Jeremy Rodriguez (@RodriguezJeremy) and you can find Always and Forever on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook @alwaysothpod or email us at alwaysothpod@gmail.com.

1.02: The Places You Have Come To Fear the Most

We don’t wanna be anything other than us, Kaitlyn and Jeremy. In our episode on S1E2: The Places You Have Come To Fear the Most, we discuss the importance of music to One Tree Hill, the iconic role of Brooke Davis, how numerous characters grapple with fear, and OTH’s lack of diversity. We’re Kaitlyn Ilinitch (@MissIReads) and Jeremy Rodriguez (@RodriguezJeremy) and you can find Always and Forever on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook @alwaysothpod or email us at alwaysothpod@gmail.com.

    1.03: Are You True?

In our episode on S1E3: Are You True?, we discuss the poor handling of Lucas’ hazing on the basketball team (Two Basketballs, One Chad Michael Murray, amiright?), our excitement for Brooke and Haley finally getting more storylines, Cracker Jack trivia you never asked for, and the symbolism (and possible environmental hazards!?) behind the Burning Boat Festival. We even draw some connections to our own high-school reunion experiences! We’re Kaitlyn Ilinitch (@MissIReads) and Jeremy Rodriguez (@RodriguezJeremy) and you can find Always and Forever on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook @alwaysothpod or email us at alwaysothpod@gmail.com.

    1.04: Crash Into You

In our episode on S1E4: Crash Into You, we discuss the fabulous Deb Scott, Nathan being a jerk to Lucas (again!), and Peyton’s much-needed epiphany. We even touch on some more obscure moments, including the *shocking* connection between One Tree Hill and High School Musical and a (hilarious?) shower scene where Kaitlyn dies of laughter! 1.05: All That You Can't Leave Behind

In our episode on S1E5: All That You Can’t Leave Behind (or the alternate title, Where I End and You Begin), we take a deep dive into the larger significance of the songs the episode is named after. We also discuss Lucas’ realization that he should keep the Scott name, Peyton and Whitey’s connection over their grief, and we make our own realization about why Peyton runs red lights. And on lighter notes, Jeremy explains why Haley was NOT watching The Office and Kaitlyn freaks out about her past visit to the real-life One Tree Hill bridge! 1.06: Every Night Is Another Story

In our episode on S1E6: Every Night Is Another Story, we discuss the two shirtless Scott brothers (which results in what professional queer Jeremy calls one of the gayest episodes of One Tree Hill!) and how they shockingly get along for the very first time. We also touch on Whitey kicking Lucas and Nathan off the school bus (how is this legal?), Karen and Keith’s first date (!?), and Peyton and Haley’s developing friendship. 5 out of 5 Always and Forevers

My people! I was so worried you’d stop producing this podcast when Drama Queens came out (which is obvi also amazing) because I look forward to your episodes every week!! The banter, the swooning, and the thoughtful reflection and dissection. I’m so glad I’m not the only one obsessed with this show. I feel so seen! Each week feels like settling in with friends to chat about our (totally not unhealthy) obsession with the best teen show: One Tree Hill!

Wonderful podcast!

As a long time OTH viewer, I’ve watched the different episodes many times throughout the years but I’ve never seen season 1-9 straight through since the show finished and I did that recently and discovered this podcast while doing so! I love the chemistry and banter between Jeremy and Kaitlyn and they bring lots of great opinions to the table. Watching this show again in my 30s and knowing the things that have come out about the show have changed a lot of my perspectives on the storylines in the show and it’s interesting to hear these perspectives from you guys as well. Excited for the second season. Hope it comes soon!
