KC is the American Vigilante - A hugely complex, intelligent, contradictory man who could save your life but end it too. Who leads a group of violent men standing on the blurred line between right and wrong, between revenge and redemption. A man you want on your side when it all falls apart.
American Vigilante is true crime, but so much more. It’s saving abducted children, it’s stepping beyond the law. It’s rescue missions, assassination attempts and last-gasp protection. It’s all the stuff you hope never comes to you, until it does.
Former BBC Journalist Sam Walker presents this Crowd Network original. She’s been speaking to KC for months and has recorded everything he’s told her. You’ll need to listen to make your own mind up, but you might never be the same again.
It’s shocking, inspiring, frightening and thought-provoking. It’ll change how you see the world, and it might change how you move within it.
Everyone thinks they’re safe, until they aren’t. Everyone thinks they know how they’ll react, until the darkness comes.

Absolutely incredible

Whether or not you agree with KC’s views or believe everything he said, this is an incredibly touching series. Final 30 seconds had me unusually choked up. I’ll miss hearing more of his story.

I wanted to believe

I’m 4 episodes in and I don’t believe one word this guy is saying. Like it’s even hard for me to believe he was in the military or if he actually went to the police academy. Let alone the fact that this guy saves kidnapped children. Wanted to like this, but my disappointment is unmeasurable and my day is ruined.

Conflicted Rating

I give this podcast 5 stars because it’s done well. Technically, it’s a good listen. The sound quality, proper cuts. Some behind the scenes thoughts by the reporter.

But this guy, KC, whether he’s telling the truth or not is not my issue. Either way, it’s storytelling, and I was entertained. However, he clearly sees women as subordinate and subservient. The way he references small hands a number of times, unsettles me. Also, I’m guessing he doesn’t believe that PTSD and mental health are real things. The child survivor who was interviewed, the way he referenced her strength was toxic. He’s toxic. Overtly masculine. It’s too much. He’s never met a matriarch. He’s sees women as weaker, less than. It’s glaring.

His final thoughts about what he wants in the world, for us to all be seen as American… cool story but the constitution ain’t it. This gives proud boy, supremacism, vibes.
