I am keeping an open mind

I have had this podcast reccomended to me several times so I started listening from the beginning. The hosts have made some VERY problamtic statements and taken some weird stances on things like religion and stockholm syndrome in the episodes I have listened to so far. In the Colleen Stan episode they were sooooo victim blamey until the very end of the episode when they both said they mostly believed her story. Colleen Stan was held captive and tortured for 7 years. In a time of believing women it was really upsetting to me to hear them say things like that. Then in episode 29 about Palo Mayombe, Suruthi basically said that people who radicalize religion should be held as an example for that particular religion, which is the same logic used for Islamaphobia in the US. People learn and grow. I started at the beginning which was in 2017 so I am hoping that stuff like this doesn't continue to come up because I really have enjoyed that they do lesser known cases.
