Christian Esguerra is a poor interviewer

Christian Esguerra is a poor interviewer. He often asks and then answers his own questions. He will of ask a question and then just as his guest is responding, he will give what he thinks is an answer, or he qualifies the question. It is almost as if he is afraid of looking like he doesn’t know the answer. If he has all the answers, then why bother having guests? He should just ask the question and then stay silent letting his guests answer even if he thinks that he already knows the answers. I find Christian Esguerra’s interview style so annoying that I skip 90% of the episodes. I will probably unsubscribe soon but occasionally they have other interviewers who let the guests express their own views they way they want.

On the plus side it is one of the only shows on Philippine politics from a mainstream source on iTunes (that I have found)
