Listen as Shaun explores the sometimes weird, sometimes wonderful, and always hilarious world of Anime. And Remington tries to understand any of it.

Episode 318 - Bartender: Glass of God
This week, Remington is otherwise preoccupied so Shaun has grabbed our editor Dylan to watch 4 episodes of 2024’s Bartender: Glass of God.
Meanwhile Dylan gives a whole new meaning to a dirty martini.

Episode 317 - Jellyfish Can't Swim in the Night
This week, Shaun has done something completely unexpected & isn't saving this show for next Pride Month! So come join us as we watch 5 episodes of Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night!
Meanwhile Remington is really hoping there are some child soldiers to continue the trend.

Episode 316 - Girls und Panzer
This week, Shaun forgot there were 5 Saturdays in June this year, but he has a backup plan! So come join us as we watch 4 episodes of Girls und Panzer!
Meanwhile Remington tries his hardest to get this episode pulled from YouTube.

Episode 315 - Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury
This week, it’s been long enough without us covering some mobile suit combat, and why not throw in some space lesbians while we’re at it? Some come and join as we watch 5 episodes (prologue through ep. 4) of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury!
Meanwhile Dylan wishes we brought a hardcore Gundam fan on the show to school both Shaun & Rem.

Episode 314 - Hitorijime My Hero - One of the Trashiest Shows We Have Seen
This week, I’m fairly certain Shaun went out of his way to find one of the worst episodes for Pride month just to torment his co-host. I would say come join us as we watch 5 episodes of Hitorijime My Hero, but honestly I wouldn't wish that upon anyone.
Meanwhile Remington nearly has a breakdown.

Customer Reviews
Great show bad Rem opinions
Rascal does not dream of bunny girl senpai is the best anime ever
It’s great
Love to stumble across the rare anime podcast that has a fresh set of eyes that isn’t afraid to be critical of any and every show. Hearing the highs and lows and other ends about shows from the eyes of a non-fan is sooo refreshing. Highly recommend.
Also can’t wait for them to review Sorcerer Hunters or Those Who Hunt Elves.
Given one cast member’s affection for elves.
Was a fan
I used to really enjoy this podcast, and my first review was 5 stars. I still follow and listen to it regularly and episodes 50-200 are my comfort episodes and I love them to death. But in the past 2 years, and even more particularly the past 3 months I can’t say I’ve smiled at a joke once. I used to really admire Remingtons honesty and the show made me laugh regularly and now it feels like a let down. They’ve put all they’re good content in to their patron pre banters and the episodes themselves are very plain and safe now. It’s like they forgot about the millions of people that still listen to them that aren’t on the patron. I miss the podcast that I loved so much and I wish they’d have more personality again and remember this is supposed to be A COMEDY not just basic talking. Also the recent show choices have been super bland and every time I check the new episodes I’m disappointed every time. This may be a unpopular opinion but I miss how they were. Thank you for all the times you made me laugh, and I really hope you go back to the light hearted comedy soon. But if not, I’m happy to see you guys expanding so much, and I hope them the best. For people wondering if they should check it out, I do highly recommend it but maybe start with earlier episodes like some of my personal favorites, AoT (newer but put pui molecar) Ponyo, etc,
