A Warranted Homicide (Part 2)
Here's the 2nd half of the Season 5 finale.
-
A Warranted Homicide
Season 5 Finale stars Brady Sullivan, a 30 year veteran of the Los Angeles Public Defender's office, who shares the tale of his last jury trial of his career which involved an officer who was fatally shot while executing a search warrant by his client who sincerely and reasonably believed it was a member of the Mongols biker "club" who was breaking into his home.

Alfred Hitchcock for the People
This not guilty features two public defenders from Detroit who's client was charged with shooting and killing his own mother with a shotgun. But hey it's not guilty for a reason, right? Multiple suspects and lazy sloppy detective work might've had something to with that.

My So-Called Expert
Great episode. Public defender from sits down with us and tells a tale of how he achieved 2 not guilties for the same client in one week. Quite the story. Enjoy.

A Cop Hopping Kangaroo Court
Check out this episode. We got a young passionate defender sharing a tale of a ridiculous prosecution and police officer who literally hopped around the courtroom trying to demonsrate to a jury how someone who is tied up could still walk to a police car after being arrested. Enjoy.

Great trial stories
This podcast rules. It’s a great resource for aspiring trial lawyers. I’ve learned a ton about trial strategy from listening to the lawyers on this podcast talk through their cases. And the stories are always compelling and told with a lot of humor and compassion.
Educational and exciting
This podcast is super interesting, especially as someone who doesn’t work as a public defender. I’ve learned a lot about the criminal and legal systems from their stories. I had no idea how much our courts and laws vary state by state. It’s also really satisfying to hear how overworked, underpaid public defenders still bring their A game to craft amazing defenses and show up 100% for their clients.
