This is yet another annual instalment of everyone’s favourite series on this podcast, Chad and Jon’s ideal off-season for the Maple Leafs. To jog your memory, Jon Kyriacou is Chad’s buddy from University, where they played intramural hockey together and won a couple championships, NBD. Notably though, Jon previously worked as a scout for the Ottawa 67’s, and as an intern directly under Kyle Dubas for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Now, Jon is everyone’s favourite corporate lawyer!
In this episode, Chad and Jon discuss all of the major questions facing the Maple Leafs this off-season, including: 1. What actually went wrong? 2. Has Brad Treliving done a good job? 3. Who should be the next head coach? 4. Should they finally blow up the core and trade a star player? 5. Which free agents stay and go? 6. etc.
