Creating Texture in Your Art - Nicholas Wilton and Terri Froelich
https://Art2Life.com - Have you ever walked around barefoot? It’s Day 4 in Sayulita, Mexico and I can’t get enough of how visually and textually rich this place is. From the sand between my bare toes to the colorful tropical flowers, it’s a feast for the senses. Admittedly, I have textures on the brain because I’m about to teach a workshop on it. But don’t worry, you’re coming too! Join Terri and me as we share our thoughts and techniques around texture and how to use it to enhance your work in wonderful and sometimes unexpected ways.

Overcoming What Is Hard in Art - Terri Froelich and Nicholas Wilton
https://Art2Life.com - One of the amazing things about teaching and participating in art workshops are the people. I’d say about half of the “aha moments” come from just sitting around and talking. You’re surrounded by all these artists from all over the world with a wealth of different skills and experiences and you get to glean from all of them. Add one or two cocktails to the mix, and now you’ve got the kind of conversations that can literally change the direction and quality of your art journey. On this episode, I’m bringing that experience to wherever you get your podcasts.
While enjoying some downtime from teaching a workshop in Mexico, Terri and I turned on a mic and had workshop participants ask their burning questions about art-making. Specifically around what’s hard about bringing our art to life and how to overcome those challenges. Join us for a fantastic time filled with insight, laughter, and a bunch of great artists on the journey together.

Customer Reviews
A must listen if you are an artist of any kind!
This podcast is so generous with all the information that is shares. The guest artists that are on are so authentic and their is absolutely no ego involved. Nicholas has a way of making anyone feel like they can be a successful artist and has created a community to support that desire. Highly recommend this and his online classes!
Inspiring and informative
I’ve only listened to two episodes so far and I’m amazed at how much I’ve learned not only about the practice of creating art and specific techniques and recipes but self-motivation, finding inspiration, art business as well as exposure to other artists. I feel like my network and community of artists is growing exponentially from the exposure into Nicholas’ world.
Guiding Light
Nick’s podcasts are so supportive for the artist. The artists who are just beginning and the artist who are continuing in their journey. Nick has variety in his approach through his own experiences and the wonderful interviews he gives with other artists.
He gets down to the truth of the matter of being a creative human being.
He’s so supportive and open to helping you grow as an artist as you grow in your truth as a person. I love how he encourages you to question what you are doing and why.
I especially appreciate his emphasis on getting in touch with your feelings and turning that experience into your art.
Thank you so much, Nick! Keep it coming🎉
