Amazing! So good. I’ve never heard your podcast before. You must hear this all the time, but julie you sound just like your beautiful mother in law! I needed this episode about public school. Thank you for recording this! The Lord used it as a sign for me. Side note: we live in the same town!!!!

I have listened to nearly every episode. I’m so thankful for this family of believers having honest conversations together. I love the scripture and study and transparency that goes into each teaching. Thank you so much for running your race well. We are all benefiting from it. I am a wife and mom with 3 young kids and am leading others in outreach ministry through my church. I would love to listen to an episode that teaches parents how to coach and model sharing the a Good News with others (neighbors, peers, classmates, coworkers, extended family, etc.).

If ratings allowed the number of stars in the galaxy, it still wouldn’t be enough to convey what this community (no it’s not just a podcast) has meant to me already. I come from a broken “Christian home” shattered at a young age, where the resounding silence didn’t just seem to emanate from God, but from just about every person I knew. And then having survived what I call a “living death” of sorts….to walk through those same waters again in a failed “Christian marriage” poisoned from the inside out… To now encounter a family that not only speaks to each other, but has honest to goodness heart conversations about God and life and hard questions…all in a place of love is like breathing oxygen for the first time. This evidence of the kingdom of God breaking through here on earth in the multigenerational agreement of a family is so utterly profound, so life-giving as an overflow and reflection of the Trinity, it is an absolute gift. The ways that John and Lisa and Addison and Juli interact and data-mine truth and wisdom are such a beautiful picture of how the family was created to love, support, nurture, strengthen, and develop for immense impact. I have no spouse, no children, and no family in the state in which I live, but I’ve gotta tell ya, that doesn’t render your ministry irrelevant to my life. For someone to whom people far behind their age look to for competence, receiving an invitation to step into the inner sanctum of a family steeped in the love and wisdom of God is priceless. Thank you John and Lisa and Addison and Juli for so generously and vulnerably giving me a place at the table from which to listen, learn, and connect with the hearts of a Spiritual father and mother and brother and sister in a family dynamic I really have never gotten to experience before but have always always wanted. May God protect and richly bless you for the witness and love that you pour out on your family - family by blood and family by Spirit of adoption. Thank you for the blessing you have been on my life already. I hope that someday, here on earth or in heaven, I can thank y’all in person :)

I really like that honest and sometimes hard conversations are addressed on here. The advice is backed with Scripture and I know they walk out what they talk about. I’ve enjoyed listening here for over a year and am always delighted when they release a new episode.
