#13 - Zane Blanchard: A Testimony From Roman Catholicism to Christianity.

#13 - Zane Blanchard: A Testimony From Roman Catholicism to Christianity.

Zane Blanchard is a native Louisianan and graduate of Louisiana College who is preparing to go to Seminary for pastoral ministry. He is a former Roman Catholic that has an interesting story to tell about his journey from Catholicism to Christ.

If you know any Roman Catholics or people who are trying to understand a bit of the difference, then I recommend this episode to you. While it may not be a point-by-point refutation of Roman Catholic teaching. It is nevertheless a powerful story of a young man coming to faith in the true Christ of Christianity. I hope this episode blesses you!

Reconciling Faith and Science: Introduction and How to interpret the Genesis Account

Reconciling Faith and Science: Introduction and How to interpret the Genesis Account

Quick Disclaimer: This is my first series filming with some new gear linked below and I'm still trying to learn to adjust settings. So some settings I don't prefer were still in the shooting of this first episode. Hopefully, it won't be an issue moving forward.   Bryceton Thomas is a medical student at LSU and will soon be entering residency. He has a passion for people to see how faith and science reconcile.

    Gear used:

Yolobox Pro https://amzn.to/3JiNDMc This live stream recorder has helped me to consolidate a lot of editing work and is one of the best ones on the market. I'm still learning a lot about it, but you will undoubtedly see my work improve every time I use it. I highly recommend this if you want to make your work time easier. It is worth the investment over time. I know it's pricey. Comment below if you have any questions about this product

#12 - Elijah Chambless - Why You Must Read Shakespeare

#12 - Elijah Chambless - Why You Must Read Shakespeare

Elijah Chambless is a student at LSU who has a great interest in the arts and film. We have had many conversations where we have enjoyed dissecting films and the ideas behind them.

This inevitably leads us to talk about the role of stories. Shakespeare was the best writer of all time when it came to fictional stories. He was a master of the craft. If you've never read Shakespeare or only enjoyed one of his works, we hope this discussion with encourage you to see in an age of mostly banal films, why Shakespeare is important for this art form today.

Great How

Travis is a great host, has good guests, and does good interviews. Many of the shows deal with issues in the SBC.

If you value God’s Word, you will love this podcast!

Travis is committed to the Word of God and this podcast, At the Crossroads, will show that with each and every episode. What a blessing that we have revelation from God and people committed to upholding it, explaining it, and obeying it!
