It's Halloween; everyone's entitled to one good scare.

Does it feel like 2020 has been one long horror movie to anyone else? Pandemic or no pandemic, we are still excited to celebrate the holiday of to end ~spooky season~, Halloween! Did you know tonight is one of six full moons in the 21st century that will fall on Halloween night? Now THAT'S scary! We're certainly thinking of all of our night nurses tonight. Hopefully, someone will be bringing some tasty treats to your floor!

Unfortunately, our movie/TV podcast, "Atlas: Now Streaming" will be ending. But to help celebrate All Hallows' Eve and end things on a high note, we have a fun and spooky episode for tonight. We sat down with six of our employees and talked about our favorite movie genre. We discussed the infamous horror movie remake, what we love most about the genre, and of course, our favorite scary movies. We hope you enjoy this one, but you might want to keep the light on!

In our final recruiter spotlight episode of Atlas: Now Streaming, we interview Kristen Begeman. Kristen is based in South Dakota and the two of us met for the first time when we were roommates at TravCon in 2018! (*insert Vine "and they were roommates" reference here*) She's a mom of three, loves old movies, and watching documentaries - that is, when she isn't watching something her kids picked out!

Kristen and I talk about some of her favorite movies including 1954's "Rear Window," our mutual love of "Something's Gotta Give," our favorite book-to-movie adaptations, and our latest quarantine binge.

She received second place in our first taco eating contest, she drank cocktails during the day before Covid and got paid for it, and she won Best Costume as Braden Boex in last year's Halloween costume contest. Who else are we talking about? It's none other than Natasha Sage!

Natasha has been with Atlas for two years and has been killing it as a recruiter ever since. We love her work ethic, her relationship with her nurses, and her sweet personality. In today's episode of Atlas: Now Streaming, we talk about our favorite binge-watching snacks, one of the most iconic DCOM movies ever (spoiler alert: it's Wish Upon a Star starring a young Katherine Heigel), and the joys of reality television.

Pumpkin pies, lattes, cereal, you name it; Jody does NOT vibe with pumpkins! So, what does Jody like? "Let's get down to business to defeat the Rourans!"

Err, I mean, the Huns? It's the Huns, right?

In the newest live-action remake from Disney, Mulan (2020) tells the story we all know and love with some significant twists and changes added in. There's no music, Mushu, or Huns to defeat. So, what's left? A badass woman saving her father from the war by disguising herself as a man and taking his place. That's still an awesome story to tell!

Mulan was originally set to release in theaters back in March (you know, the before times) but was just released on Disney+ this month with a premier access fee. Gorgeously shot and fun for everyone, it's definitely worth the price.

Haven't seen this one yet? Decide for yourself if it's just another Hollywood remake or an honorable retelling of a Disney classic.
