A subversive podcast taking refuge in The Sanctuary of Allegory about the fragility of memory.

With Audio Chimera I share memories from my past, while at the same commenting on various aspects of modern life. The links are not always obvious, since I create each podcast through stream of consciousness writing techniques—and sometimes even I am surprised by the connections!

Never fails

This show never fails to deliver a worthwhile listening experience that keeps me thinking or laughing or both well afterwards.

Broad selection of topics presented with a sense of humor

With so many podcasts out there, it can be difficult to filter through them all. Audio Chimera stands out because Dr. Schrum provides some great reflections on art, teaching, media and society. Each episode has a well conceived theme, is well written and is presented with humor. You can tell that this is a labor of love, and that Schrum loves what he's doing.

Incredibly enjoyable and thought-provoking

I love it. More please.
