Join us in a special Black History Month episode as we sit down with Gerald Watkins, Executive Director of Rickwood Field. In this episode, we will delve into the rich history of America's oldest ballpark, home to the Birmingham Black Barons, as well as highlight the Negro Leagues and the pivotal role they played in shaping the landscape of America's favorite pastime as we know it today. Lastly, we'll get one of the first looks at the 2024 MLB Field of Dreams game to be played between the Giants and Cardinals on June 20, 2024 in honor of Juneteenth.

In this episode, we sit down with 11-time Emmy Award Winning Executive Producer and Content Creator, Rich Ciancimino, Co-host and Producer of The Mayor's Office with Sean Casey. "Chinch" is a recognized industry-wide for creative leadership and artistic innovation. His experience in production ranges from major National (ESPN), to Startup (MLB Network), to Local (Sportsnet, NY) environments. He’s also one of the industries leading New Media producers and was at the forefront of relaunching MLB Network’s “At-Home” coverage during the pandemic lockdowns of 2020. Rich attended Columbia University where he lettered in D1 Baseball and was the recipient of the 2000 Columbia University Baseball Award for outstanding leadership both on and off the field . He currently resides on Long Island with his wife Jess, his 2 dogs Bella and Macey, and his cat Stuart.
