Let's talk about the Jesus we never hear about. Unpacking a Baptist Church marquee that read, “We preach Jesus Christ, crucified and risen again,” the Finchers prove why it’s easy to skew the Bible and dogpile on those who are trying to get it right. They share their best ways to recalibrate the truth.

Meaningful conversation about relevant issues to today’s Christians

Back porch with Dale and Jonalyn is at once both an easy listen and an engaging conversation. Anyone who nurtures a growth mindset will appreciate the topics they debate and elaborate on. But what perhaps is most enjoyable is the camaraderie they share as souls and how as husband and wife they have differences, and they both appreciate what each other brings to the table. And I love the easy laughter that peppers many episodes. If you care about soul formation, understanding the times in which we live, relationships, generally life…..this is a podcast that you want in your queue.

Authentic and Refreshing

Listening to Dale and Jonalyn unedited and unscripted episodes are refreshing and authentic. I often find myself on my back porch with coffee or tea listening to their latest episode feeling as though I’m sitting right with them. Their topics are relatable and relevant in our daily lives. One of my favorite episodes was Navigating Adult Friendships and I have shared it with both my teenage girls as the timing could not have been better with our one daughters navigating acceptance and jealousy being the “new girl.” I look forward to their engaging conversations.

Intriguing Points Of View

Let me start by saying their voices are easy to listen to, you don’t hear distractions like pens clicking, chairs moving or rustling movement.
This makes to stay engaged with their discussion.
You two bring a nice blend of each others views that, no doubt, other couples would strive for.
The content is quite extensive with non-redundant conversations.
I encourage those seeking a way to communicate with their spouse, child or friend to listen to Jonalyn and Dale, you just may learn something….
Good work you two and am “curious” with the subjects ahead.
