S3 Episode 62 - Visit Your Gethsemane!
In this episode of Beauty Beyond the Ashes Podcast, I talk about being asked a question that only God the Father could answer. What struck me so deeply was that, at one time, I asked this very question.
It's only now, that I find the solace in not knowing the exact answer. Because in the Word of God, I found something better than an answer. I found that I had made a visit to my Gethsemane and I am GOOD!!!
See, it was in the Garden of Gethsemane that Jesus laid bare His soul to the Father and accepted the will of God that was before Him.
However, it wasn't a smooth ride to that acceptance. In fact, the Bible tells us that "His sweat became like great drops of blood..." It was the agony of the moment that caused such.
There may be something on your heart that you just don't understand. However, if we just do as Jesus did...go into our OWN Gethsemane, and lay it before God. And in doing so, surrender right there to the will of God...even when we don't understand!

Such an important podcast
Tonya does such a beautiful job discussing such raw and real topics with so much grace, hope and encouragement. These stories need to be told and this podcast creates space to discuss the real parts of life and faith!
