Rôle croissant de l’Etat en tant qu’actionnaire : défis de gouvernance et outils de gouvernance appropriés dans le cadre d’une participation publique/privée accrue

La crise du COVID-19 a montré l’importance du rôle de l’Etat dans notre économie, tant par le sauvetage de secteurs économiques entiers, les mesures sanitaires fortes ou les injections financières publiques. Dans certains cas, les investissements publics ont même pris la forme de participations actionnariales au sein d’entreprises privées, via notamment des fonds d’investissement publics.

En compagnie de Prof. Bruno Colmant, GUBERNA s’interroge sur les implications concrètes que suscitent ces prises de participations en matière de gouvernance publique.

Good governance and resilience are highly intertwined. A resilient board deals with change and crisis effectively, while staying true to the organisation’s purpose. It combines agility with continuity and acts in a proactive but structured way. Instead of resisting change, resilience requires openness and awareness of external factors, giving way to new possibilities.   

In line with the sanitary regulations, the GUBERNA Director’s Day took place on 23 February 2021 as a fully digital event, combining joint sessions - broadcasted live from the GUBERNA Home of Governance – with interactive breakout sessions in small digital groups.  It is our pleasure to share with you a summary of this event.
