Our Purpose We aim to delve deep into storytelling and explore what makes a great story. We take a unique approach by examining five essential elements that every author must consider: Plot, Setting, Characters, POV, and Conflict Styles. Our goal is to empower aspiring storytellers to take their craft to the next level by sharing successful authors' insights, flaws, and revelations as they journey through the literary world. We believe everyone has a story to tell, and we encourage our listeners to find their unique voices and perspective. In addition to exploring the storytelling process, so aim to educate our audience about the publishing industry. We provide practical tools and resources to help aspiring authors navigate the often-challenging world of publishing and give them the knowledge they need to achieve long-term success.

Firstly, we delve deeper into the literary elements of each book, exploring not only the plot but also the architecture of the world, the complexities/simplicity of the characters, the narrative point of view, and the conflict model. By reading the first three to five chapters of each book, we can provide a more comprehensive analysis of what makes each story unique. Secondly, we don't just talk about the book. We also take the time to get to know the author personally. We inquire about their inspirations, unknown facts about them, their writing kryptonite, favorite quotes, and what's next for them. Lastly, we educate our audience on the publishing world. We discuss the various specialties within the industry, types of publications and marketing strategies, ways to better one's craft, distribution of books, and finding long-term success as an author.

In the Future At Beyond the Pen, we aim to be the go-to platform for publishing companies, big and small, to showcase their most promising new authors. Maccabee is an amazing podcast host. He and Chelsea are the unspoken heroes for new authors; established ones as well. They uncover answers to the questions most authors forget to ask. WhT a joy to be a guest son their show.
