Staying in the Loop!

I have been listening to BP for years. I have loved all the hosts and co-hosts! The knowledge and continuous education about real estate, the economy and more and invaluable to me in my investor journey.

Great advice for life in general …

I really enjoy this episode I’ve been listen for about 5 years now and even accidentally went live with David Greene once… 🤣
This episode was perfect timing for me. I am a business owner and RE investing is my side hustle. In general, life gets overwhelming when handling these two things. My favorite tips of this podcast: #1) know your limits to prevent burn out; #2) don’t leave your W2 until it starts to become a liability as opposed to an asset. I like how Rob and David described how their RE was taking up too much of their time and they noticed that’s what they want to spent their time doing, as opposed to just doing it because someone said this is how you build your wealth.
These definitely speak to me. It is important to stay focused, plan R&R, building your wealth by doing something you love .
Thank you for this episode, David and Rob!! 🤗

Used to be great podcast not anymore

Episodes have no structure. Keeps getting shorter and seems like half the content is ads.

LIFE CHANGING

This podcast has changed my life for the better as I now own 5 properties and am a licensed agent in Denver, CO. I specifically love the tricky balance that y’all strike of due diligence and taking action. It can be easy to lean one way or the other, but Bigger Pockets consistently places value on both. Thanks so much!

Arrogant, dishonest, and selling lies

Update: “expert” David Greene says “i can’t imagine there are many farms in New England.”

This is the guy we’re supposed to take advice from on building “pillars of wealth,” someone who doesn’t even know our nation’s geography? I guess he’s hurting less people now than if he was still out on the streets as a cop? Maybe? Yes I hate listen, and skip EVERY ad for the garbage products they push that take up literally half of the podcast.

Original:

“Be like us or you’re a loser.” Meanwhile, in october 2033 they ran a disclaimer (a listener would miss it as it was buried) saying that: -the real estate market “isn’t as easy as it used to be.” -we’re in a different “rate environment,” so good deals are few and far between. -real estate simply is not the investment vehicle it once was. essentially, any idiot can’t do simple BRRR’s anymore. These, shockingly, are true statements! Why not say it more often? Why not diversify the type of guests you have on? I forget who dropped this bombshell, it was the generic guy with the higher pitched voice. At least find new products to shill for during the ungodly 12-14 minutes of advertising on each episode. There can only be so many cult-like, guru “training programs.” Or is there a limit? Suckers are born every minute. Don’t worry. They don’t read negative reviews (it’s boring to hear someone simply read off a screen anyway). When they read anything, it’s time filler meant to bolster their egos. If they do read this, it’ll be in the vein of dismissing it as pure “negativity” and “someone with that attitude will never make it,” all while failing to address their glossed over disclaimers. Disclaimers that acknowledge that what they say and do these days is literally meaningless. BP is living in the past. Time to look to the future.

Dave Meyer

I still am grateful for this podcast and have always enjoyed it and still do, except when Dave Meyer is on there. I hope he doesn’t start doing more shows, he’s hard to listen to. Please don’t continue downgrading hosts. This isn’t meant to be mean, just my opinion and constructive feedback. I’m sure he’s a great guy!

Has become so so

This is coming from someone with moderate experience (11 doors and a few flips). Some episodes offer some great advice and interesting perspectives.

However some episodes display a lack of filtered guests and terrible advice. Claims of doors and cash flow of these guests not only line up but some of the advice and thoughts will lead to you to broke quickly. I think the show has gotten a bit stale so sometimes things are said just to be said without actual thought put in.

To over the top

I’ve been in real estate for 30 years & though I might learn. U guys need to dumb it down & explain “….20% equity & so much down you’ll rerun x%& that’s if u have a lender who will.,,”.
Telling what u did is far different than telling me why this & that & so forth. The question about the lady with the ranch was no help to anyone let alone the gal that asked. Jc

Long overdue

I have learned so much from Bigger Pockets podcasts and forums over the years. When I have a question it’s the first place I look for answers. I really like the new Seeing Green format bc smarter people than me are asking questions I don’t even know to ask.
Rob and David are doing an even better job than Josh and Brandon and they were great too. Thanks for continuing to up the quality on a free product. Much appreciated. - L

Everyday Is Saturday

David and his team have been instrumental in enabling us to reach a point in our lives where we no longer need W2 jobs and are able to do what we want when we want and treat everyday as Saturday. Thank you and continue providing the informative podcasts.
