Episode 77:How to Become a Property Manager Black Real Estate Dialogue

    • Investing

This year we've added a new element to the show. In addition to interviewing real estate investors, we've interviewed people who are professionals in various areas of real estate. The purpose of this segment is to show our community what's possible, especially in areas where we are underrepresented.

This episode with Natahcia Scott was powerful! Natahcia has an extensive background in residential and commercial property management. She started her career in real estate working part-time at a property management company leasing apartments. She moved up the ranks at various companies and currently works as a General Manager of several shopping centers, including one where over 90% of tenants are black owned businesses.

Natahcia used her 9-5 experience to start her own property management company and a consulting company to help startups. She has also started a vending machine business with her husband that will be passed on to her son when he's older.

Natahcia will be a guest speaker in July for the B.R.E.D Real Estate Investing Community. Click the link in the show notes to join for $1!

In this episode we discuss the property manager's role, getting into the industry, starting her own business and more.
