Today, I sit down with 28-year-old real estate investor Derek Boone. Referring to himself as a “one-stop real estate shop”, Derek got his license in 2017 and began his career as a realtor and wholesaler.
Later down the line, Derek was inspired to take the leap into becoming an investor. Today, he invests primarily in multifamily properties and has exciting plans to grow his portfolio to 100 units within a year alongside a slew of upcoming development projects.
In this episode, Derek discusses his best practices for full-gut renovations, the importance of getting your team invested in your goals, and how to delegate tasks so that you have the bandwidth to work on your business instead of in your business.
