Awesome
Never seen a podcast like this before
Amazing Show!
While I do find some of the shows long and hard to listen to (especially some of the theological ones), this is one of the best podcasts I’ve heard. I’ve been a paying listener for more than a year now and still haven’t caught up with all the episodes. It’s good to understand before going in that these guys do not really vet their guests. I personally think it’s a good thing because you have to determine for yourself what you want to believe. If you can’t make your own decisions or discernments, this podcast is not for you. Do I always agree with everyone? No, and that’s okay. It’s entertaining, sometimes mildly educational, and exposes people to different ideas that they may not have heard before. It also gives voices to people who may have not wanted to speak up about things until they found a safe space to do so. I certainly don’t want to listen to a podcast where the hosts contradict everything their guests say and argue their point all the time. That being said, I do dislike how Nate tends to interrupt some of the guests to interject experiences from previous shows. Especially when it sets the guest on a different trajectory and they don’t get to finish what they were talking about (poor Dan Duval). However, that’s just an annoyance and not something that would ever make me stop listening. So, this is not an echo chamber podcast where you’re going to always be on the same page as every guest. Embrace it!

This is the best podcast! The things I have learned and the way my perspectives have been expanded listening to Nate and Luke’s wonderful interviews with such fascinating guest cannot be understated. And being introduced to the late Dr. Heiser has been invaluable to how I read the Bible now! Thank you guys for doing this! One of the two podcasts I am happy to pay to be a member🫶🏻
