My favorite way to learn about our current dystopia
Let’s be honest - talking about the state of reproductive freedom in this country can be depressing. And yet - Imani and Jess discuss these issues in a way that always leaves me with a bit of hope (or at least keeps me laughing through my tears). I get a bit smarter every time I listen to this pod and am really grateful to the hosts!
giving us the legal tools to understand the legal context for choice
I’m not a lawyer, so I really value the legal insights and cultural context in which SCOTUS operates and how precarious a woman’s choice is in the current political climate. And to hear two incredibly smart and funny women with incredible chemistry talk us through what’s happening is especially important right now. These women have unique voice and perspective and I value it big time. My one beef - I know it’s the “tone” of the podcast, but sometimes I just feel like I’m getting yelled at. Maybe a little less yelling? Just can’t take the yelling sometimes. Incredible info, incredible hosts, but the yelling is fatiguing, and given the pandemic stress on top of everything else - just can’t take it sometimes, even though I’m so thirsty for the info. It’s verging on a Fox-like delivery sometimes. Hosts - please consider? Thanks.
Favorite way to learn about the law
This podcast is exactly what I needed, two friends explaining complicated history, current events, and legal issues in a way that’s accessible, informative, and somehow very funny for such serious topics. It’s so good.
