As you may have guessed with the french title, it's "one more year" for the Montreal native Marc Andre Fleury in net, to help mentor Jesper Wallstedt, and/or to pair with Filip Gustavsson, depending on what happens in the coming months. Liam Ohgren likes very promising, Brock Faber appears to be a franchise defenseman, now hopefully the Wild can have addition via subtraction coming soon.

The Minnesota Wild were officially eliminated from playoff contention in Colorado, who clearly appear to be light years ahead of were the local club would like to be. It's time to see what the young guys can do, many of us wish we went this direction sooner!

The Minnesota Wild had an up and down week, shutting out the Ducks twice, with two different goalies. After a nice comeback, the Wild couldn't finish in St Louis, and things were bad from the get go in Los Angeles. The team is more or less teasing us, by "hanging around" in the playoff hunt, a lot like a famous cartoon skit that's been played many different times.

A fairly busy week for the Minnesota Wild, making four trades, two of which were fairly popular younger players in Brandon Duhaime and Connor Dewar, along with veterans Patrick Maroon and Nic Petan. Marat Khusnutdinov made his arrival in Minnesota, and any day now, will be in the lineup, for the long-term future! All of this while the Wild went 3-1 this past week, involving one of the gutsiest calls by a coach in team history!
