Breaking Bad Episode: Felina (Season 5, Ep. 16)
In today’s very special episode, we talk about the LAST EPISODE of the series. (We’ll be back next week to do one final retrospective over the whole show.) Among things we talk about today:

Is Walt too much of a hero in this episode?
Was Jesse crying joyfully at the end?
    Why didn’t Jesse shoot Walt?
Did you notice Skyler’s face reflected in the microwave?
    Is the M60 scene realistic?
What was up with that woodworking sequence?

    And much, much more!

Breaking Bad Episode: Granite State (Season 5, Ep. 15)
Today on the show we dive into the series' penultimate episode, talking about a change of scenery for Walt, a Charlie Rose cameo, Walt drinking Mike's whiskey of choice, a real fake Andrew Ross Sorkin column for the New York Times, Andrea's shocking death, and a surprise first-time MVP vote for a minor character.

Breaking Bad Episode: Ozymandias (Season 5, Ep. 14)
It’s here. The “antepenultimate” (to borrow a word from The RInger) episode of the show and one that is almost universally regarded as the best of the bunch. We talk about the insane turn of events for Hank and Walt, Walt’s parting words to Jesse, the poem behind the name, the harrowing house scene, Walt’s dramatic phone call to Skyler, and more. There’s so much to unpack that we hardly know where to begin!

Breaking Bad Episode: To'Hajiilee (Season 5, Ep. 13)
Today we talk about what amounts to Walt’s unwitting confession, Jesse’s prescient warning, a gut wrenching call between Hank and Marie, and the first-ever side-by-side of Josh’s favorite character and Saul Goodman.

Best

Late to the show but happy I didn’t miss it!

Nothing of substance. Boring. Waste of time.

The hosts meander through the podcast w/o any meaningful discussion or analysis. Starting Season 2 they literally recap each episode via the Wikipedia episode page. They splice in 5-10min of the show and comment how they ‘liked it’ during their segments “Best Scene”, “Best Writing”, “Nip to pick” (something bothersome) & “Character MVP. ” It’s a non-event of a 30ish min pod. A real let down of a podcast about one of the greatest shows ever. Is this “Clickbait Podcasting?” just b/c it’s about Breaking Bad? Why even endeavor to make this podcast?

Dad of KART ,

Listening to Zach and Josh is like reliving the guilty pleasure of watching the show the first time.

Zach and Josh breakdown of each episodes brings out so many things I didn’t even think of when I watched Breaking Bad, and now I enjoy it even more.
