TQ Senkungu is an immigrant from Uganda to the United States who has been blessed to achieve success without being born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Here you will see the personification of his philosophy for how people of color can build a powerful community to overcome obstacles, achieve their goals, and succeed beyond our wildest dreams against all the odds. The philosophy is this: 1. Learn or teach yourself what you need to achieve your goals and dreams. 2. Teach and help others do the same. 3. Publicize the success stories. 4. Ignore the haters. This show is the fulfillment of that philosophy. In long form interviews, he showcases other people of color who have succeeded in various fields and professions. You will get to look inside the lives of men and women from fields including lawyers, professional athletes and coaches, doctors, nonprofit executives, real estate, investment banking, military members, bodybuilders, educators, entrepreneurs and so much more. You’ll be inspired by the stories of people who look like you and get to hear step by step how they got there. And you’ll see how they succeeded when they arrived so you can follow in their footsteps. TQ has been in middle of the discussion for how people of color can succeed in any environment as a minorities. Often the only person of color in the room, he became a National Merit Scholar and top graduate class in high school, distinguished graduate from the Management Major at the US Air Force Academy and Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society member as an MBA graduate from the University of Southern California Business School. After success in entrepreneurship as well as the corporate and nonprofit world, he’s built an amazing network of successful people of color that you will enjoy getting to know. Way to have Courage
TQ figures what was missing in our community and provided a solution. I agree with all of the rating that note this podcast is inspirational and motivation but there so much more to this podcast. But we all know potential and no action is just potential. Everyone has a story and that's a great way to start the conversation but TQ has taken it to another level. You will you gain prespective, and you will learn doable tips and tools. I love that we are hearing from everyday people who have employed everyday techniques and reached success. You don't have to be Warren Buffet or Orpah. Success looks different for everyone and you must define that for yourself...as long as you are humble, stay hungry and always hustle (what I have coined as #H3), you will meet your goals and reach success. I look forward to hearing more. Keep being selective with your interview selections! Thanks for having the courage to put something out that caters to the African American community.
Love this show!
The show is incredibly inspirational, and I've taken something away from it on every episode. Definitely recommend for all those looking to better themselves!
