Texas Longhorns Football Team: Post Spring Position Group Rankings (Good, Great or Elite?)
With the spring portal window closing, Texas now sits at 82 scholarship players with a limit of 85, and players can no longer enter the portal and be eligible this season. Because of this, we can reasonably assume that what we see now is who we will be going to war with in 2024. With that being said, how would you rank each room on this football team currently? Good, Great, or Elite? #HookEm

Texas Longhorns Football Team: Former San Jose State CB Jayvion Cole commits to the Texas Longhorns
Texas lost two huge pieces to the transfer portal in Terrance Brooks and Austin Jordan, which posed some serious questions for the depth in that room. Like Sark has done since 2021, he went out and attacked his needs in the portal at a high level, bringing in San Jose State star corner Jayvion Cole to help mitigate those losses. One of the most productive corners in the nation last season, can he duplicate that effort in Austin? #HookEm

After a historical weekend for everybody involved, what is the next step for these forever Longhorns? #HookEm

Texas Longhorns Football Team: Terrance Brooks and Austin Jordan enter the NCAA Transfer Portal
College football has changed dramatically in recent years, and that change has caused movement in college football, we have never seen before. In just this offseason, Texas has lost almost ten players to the portal, and brought in almost ten players from the portal. It's just the new reality. For the most part, Texas has always been able to buffer their losses, but when you lose guys like Austin Jordan and Terrance Brooks, is it still business as usual? #HookEm

Great Show Overall
I love the show. I have been listening since the beginning and appreciate much of what Jonathan brings to the table. However I wish he would drop certain segments. Primarily the NFL roundup. I listen to this podcast for Longhorns, Big 12, and college football insight not NFL. There are plenty of other podcasts who cover that quite well. Keep up the great Longhorns content!
Good Podcast
Johnathan did a great job covering the Sugar Bowl! Respect on giving real insight instead of joining in the hype train. I learned a lot about Texas and he knew a lot more about UW than most other pods. Go Dawgs!
Criminal?
First listen, sorry had to stop. “Criminally not targeting JW?” Sark said he’s not 100% and going through something.
