    Lenny "Kilroy" Taylor discusses the Caribbean and soccer in the United States

    Lenny "Kilroy" Taylor has impacted football in the Caribbean for many years. A coaching legend in the black soccer community, he has dedicated nearly 50 years of his life  serving the players in his community. A former North American Soccer League player with the New York Cosmos, he has coached and has been an administrator at all levels ranging from youth to professional. Internationally, he was recently the Technical Director of the St. Kitts and Nevis Football Association from 2005-2008, and on the youth level he recently resigned as the Technical Director of Pompano Beach Football Club in Florida. 

    A man who is not afraid to bite his tongue when discussing football in the Caribbean. Enjoy the interview!

    Johann Contaste is a rising star at the youth soccer coaching level

    Johann Constaste is an up and coming youth soccer head coach based in Seattle, Washington. In the early 2000’s he came to the United States from Trinidad & Tobago to start his college soccer career at Tusculum University and he never returned. Currently, a youth coach at the Pacific Northwest Soccer Club in Seattle, Washington, one of the largest clubs on the west coast, he works with the U-13 boys team. He is currently completing his United States Soccer Federation “A” License where he has spent the last six months traveling to and from Kansas City. He has also been an Assistant Head Coach of Bellevue College, a small Community College located outside of Seattle.

    We discuss an array of topics from youth soccer's structure in the United States to advice that he would give Caribbean players who are looking to play soccer in college.

    Mike Asfall discusses soccer in the inner cities and on the west coast

    Mike Asfall is a legend in the city of Inglewood, California and a man who has spent the last 30 years of his life working on behalf of youth in the inner cities. He is the Founder of Spartans Wolves Inglewood Soccer Club, where he overseas seven teams between the ages of 12-16 years old including a women's semi-professional for both boys and girls. He is also a five-time city girls varsity soccer champion and has been one of the most impactful men in soccer in his community.  He has been the Vice-President of the Long Beach Chapter of the NAACP and a member of LA84 Foundation. On this show, we discuss an array of topics ranging from operating a club in the inner city to Major League Soccer's Los Angeles FC impact on the community, and how we can better get black coaches on the west coast involved in our association.
