Great analysis
These guys bring a wealth of Mariners and baseball knowledge. Entertaining and engaging.
Good and bad
These guys know what they’re talking about when it comes to baseball. And I love heading their perspective, the big drawback to this podcast is that in every episode they come across as though they think they are smarter and better than everyone they are talking about. It’s unfortunate because I’ll often be enjoying a podcast, only for them to begin talking politics, thinking all evil in sports is due to owners, or assuming that every other sports writer is a moron.
Nothing wrong with criticizing where it fits, and certainly all those groups deserve it at some point. But the “holier than thou” tone they take every time gets tiresome.
I really enjoy the podcast and will continue to listen, I just hope this changes.
Unfortunately political
Hey Mariners guys; I have enjoyed your podcast for the past year I’ve listened yet really had a problem with your comments regarding Curt Schilling. If you are going to state both he and Tori Hunter are as you said “A piece of work” then say why. I love your prospect coverage but was really appalled by the way you covered the hall of fame contenders. If you go down that route again explain how Schilling isn’t in the hall of fame and how Larry Walker is in the the hall. I agree on Martinez making the hall of fame but unfortunately the hall of fame is becoming more about players being great over a long period of time rather than truly elite. Please focus on the Mariners and leave political biases at the door. I really do enjoy listening but stay in your lane and focus on the team being put on the field.
