Navjot sadly lost his father at 7 years old but luckily was raised by a strong mother and inspirational sisters.

When he landed a dream job at Dyson, he became disillusioned because he was simply building vacuum cleaners for the rich.

This sent him to Engineers without Borders where he struggles of women in a remote Indian village had a transformational effect on him and he wanted to make a difference.

Now The Washing Machine Project has provided the dignity of clean clothes to 30,000 people and aims to do even more to help those who need humanitarian help through innovation.
