Burgundy Radio: Now what? (Postseason 2021)

Burgundy Radio: Now what? (Postseason 2021)

The Avalanche lost 4 straight to Vegas. We have a few ideas about how that happened. Plus a teensy bit of speculation about what the offseason may hold!

Burgundy Radio: THAT STUNK (but we're up 2-1) (6/5/2021)

Colorado smoked Vegas, got smoked by Vegas, and even played Sampo Ranta! Plus, a center named Wingerli, Mikko's toe pick legal brief, and when will Bednar bring Bowen Byram back to the blueline?

Burgundy Radio: Oh Boy (2021 Second Round Preview)

The Colorado Avalanche swept the St. Louis Blues! They await the Vegas Golden Knights in one of the most anticipated playoff series of the last few seasons. Also, some mid-week ELC signings, shakeups in the amateur scouting department, and Jared Bednar may be open to playing Sampo Ranta!?

[hey hi sorry Steph has a minor bitcrush that no one can explain for the opening few minutes of this one - it goes away - thank you for understanding 3]
Steph, earl, and Jackie (live from... somewhere) break down the Avs 3-0 lead in this series, Nazem Kadri's suspension, and what's so weird about the opening round of the playoffs!

Burgundy Radio: Midnight in Newfoundland (Playoffs preview!)

The usual gang welcome Vlad back aboard to break down the PRESIDENT'S TROPHY WINNING Colorado Avalanche's upcoming series with the St. Louis Blues. Plus, a short stop in the other series, and who's coming back for the Avs this week?

Burgundy Radio: Just win. Baby. (5/10/2021)

Burgundy Radio: Just win. Baby. (5/10/2021)

Steph, earl, and Jackie regrettably watched those games this week. BUT that means we got to watch Alex Newhook's debut! Plus, defenders take the scoring reins, the Avs' playoff scenarios, and Steph may refer to audio distortion you can't hear! It was just in my headphones, not recorded, and I'm not for sure that I edited out all the times I mention it! Fun!

Excellent Avs content

Excellent content for Avs fans. Including detailed discussion of prospects, which is hard to find. My only complaint is that one guy’s voice volume is half of the other participants, so I’m constantly adjusting volume.

Great Avs podcast

This is my favorite Avs pod to poop to. Meanwhile, my podcast is poop.

Room for improvement.

Some of these guys have decent takes on the team, if you have the patience to sit through the nonsense in between. Routine podcasts covering a sports team should never push 2 hours... even AJ and Adrian never take that long, and they’re known to get off topic for 20 minutes at a time!

Lousy production value as well. Constantly have to adjust volume because they apparently haven’t figured out how to mix properly. One person is shouting in your ear while another sounds like they’re across a football field. Trim the fat (and eliminate a weak link or 2 from the group of contributors) and this podcast could be great.
