Episode Zero- TrailerWelcome to the Buzzworthy Indie Publishing Podcast. My name is Selena Teems. I am a self-published author, CEO of Successful YOU! LLC and founder of Indie Author Market app. Self-publishing has its own ecosystem. Authors, publishing freelance creatives, marketers, small presses, bookseller platforms and readers are all interdependent members of this ecosystem. My self-publishing journey introduced me to all these members and I noticed a need for clarity and greater connections. Like many first time self publishing authors, I did not have a community of mentors to learn from. I did not personally know one other indie published author. I believe I made every classic mistake a first time self publishing author could. Although challenging, my self-publishing experience sparked a desire to construct a less intimidating experience for others. That desire has manifested in two ways: Indie Author Market App and Buzzworthy Indie Publishing Podcast. Indie Author Market app is a tool for the self-publishing ecosystem. It is a platform for authors and publishing freelance creatives to do business with ease and confidence. It will launch in 2022 in the Apple App Store and Goole Play Store. Buzzworthy Indie Publishing Podcast is the platform where we will host conversations on best practices authors should know about to be successful in their self-publishing pursuits. Expect to hear perspectives of readers, authors, creatives, marketers and booksellers imparting strategies to help the self-publishing community flourish.I can’t wait to dive in!
