A product of the COVID-19 lockdown, the "By the Barest of Margins" podcast was started by a group of Indian cricket fans as an idea born on a WhatsApp group after a conversation revolved around whether Steve Smith was genuinely great or just a statpadder.

Episode 17 - Walking Wounded at the SCG
The gang is back to review the third India vs Australia Test match. Vignesh Ananthasubramanian debuts on the podcast, as he joins host Aaditya, Prashanth, Sanket, and Dharmik. We talk about the pride that India can have at their display in Sydney, what options they have (not many) in Brisbane. The Australian fans also debate the captaincy of Tim Paine, the below-par series of Nathan Lyon, and a predictable response from Steven Smith.

Episode 16 - From Mariana Trench to Mount Everest
Aaditya is joined by a thrilled trio of Abhyudaya, Hari and Prashanth, as the gang wax lyrical about the Indian captain Ajinkya Rahane after a famous Boxing Day Test win in Melbourne. Episode 15 - 36 and Out
Aaditya is back on hosting duties, and is joined by Sanket and Dharmik to review Australia's performances in the first two Tests of the 2020-21 Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Steve Smith's barren start to the Australian summer, and a faltering batting line-up around him are our main talking points in this one. The panelists also make a case for Australia's bowling attack being given a raw deal because of the fragility of their batting lineup.

Episode 13 - Desert Storm: Part 3 - KXIP, SRH and RR
Aaditya is joined by Anirudh Srinivaas and Karthik Raj, in the last part of our IPL Season Preview. Anirudh contends that there is a case for Kings XI Punjab to max out on their batting strength, even if it means leaving the bowling a little light. He says their season will depend on the performance of Chris Gayle. Karthik previews both Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals, and says that both teams have their fair share of issues, with an over-dependence on certain individuals. He is, though, excited to see the progress and development of a bunch of exciting youngsters from both these sides.

Episode 12 - Desert Storm: Part 2- KKR, DC and RCB
Aaditya is joined by Rahul, Abhyudaya and Karthik, in the build-up to the IPL 2020, as they take a look at Kolkata Knight Riders, Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore respectively. Rahul is thrilled about the flexibility that the KKR squad offers to the team management, and its suitability to different conditions. Abhyudaya speaks of a continuing love-hate relationship with the Delhi franchise, but thinks they might not be able to better last year's performance. Karthik is confident that RCB will better last year's performance, and puts them as one of the favourites to at least make the playoffs.
