Procuring and Promoting Sponsors for a Virtual Event. Lessons from the TNCHAP Event: 3/3

"Our event participants were excited to see all the local people participating, which in turn made them want to participate more as well..." -Tina Plank.

After the Tennessee Community HIV-AIDS Partnership (TNCHAP) worked with Conference Tracker to recreate their annual event online, they reached out to local partners seeking sponsors and securing exhibitors. In part 3 of a short series of podcast episodes, TNCHAP event organizers, Tina Plank, Southeast TNCHAP Prevention Chair, and Nikita Edwards, Regional HIV Manager for United Way of Greater Nashville, talk through the steps they took to market and win sponsors as well as how they promoted and showcased their partners during the virtual event.

How Conference Tracker Helped Us with Our Virtual Event. Lessons from the TNCHAP Event: 2/3

How Conference Tracker Helped Us with Our Virtual Event. Lessons from the TNCHAP Event: 2/3

"This was my first time working with it. I think it was so easy – even for our participants who were having some trouble with the tech part of it – it was really easy to walk them through how to download the app... and how easy it was from there to help them navigate the tabs." -Tina Plank.

Looking to make sure their online event was professional and engaging, while still showcasing partners and sponsors, committee members for the Tennessee Community HIV-AIDS Partnership (TNCHAP) turned to Conference Tracker. Event organizers, Tina Plank, Southeast TNCHAP Prevention Chair, and Nikita Edwards, Regional HIV Manager for United Way of Greater Nashville, express their gratitude for a smooth transition and share some of the lessons learned while planning their first virtual event in part 2 of 3 in a short series of podcast episodes.

How Going Virtual Doubled Our Event’s Attendance. Lessons from the TNCHAP Event: 1/3

How Going Virtual Doubled Our Event’s Attendance. Lessons from the TNCHAP Event: 1/3

"Every year we have a community event where we provide entertainment,  awareness, and food. This year we decided as a committee to hold it virtually which was a little nerve-racking, but also exciting because with the virtual aspect we were able to get a lot more engagement." -Tina Plank.

When committee members for the Tennessee Community HIV-AIDS Partnership (TNCHAP) converted their annual World Aids Day Celebration from an in-person event to an online event, they experienced some delightfully surprising results. Event organizers, Tina Plank, Southeast TNCHAP Prevention Chair, and Nikita Edwards, Regional HIV Manager for United Way of Greater Nashville, sat down with us to share some of the lessons learned while planning their first virtual event in part 1 of 3 in a short series of podcast episodes.
