    #20 - F1 Drive to Survive Recap

    #20 - F1 Drive to Survive Recap

The coffee machine team decided we'd like to cloud your quarantine reality with a little escapism! With racing at a standstill, all professional sports, and life as we know it, we wanted to hop back in our time pods and frolic around the fields of yesteryear... And that’s where you’ll find us — at the intersection of discussion intervention and brain soup - recapping the recent season of Formula 1 drive to survive.

We hand picked our favorite storylines, entangle ourselves in the very fabric that makes William Storey’s beard so mysterious, and poop out a product we think to be another apex that will soon be missed. Ride along BABY, take our hands, and away we go…

Lastly, IF you find yourself aimlessly scrolling one day on instagram, make the voyage over to @cafemachina. We're doing live shows every Friday, we're talking about thunks, and if you too have a thunk - THIS IS YOUR MOMENT.

#18 - Solutions for your earholes

Nestled inside our shoebox shelters, while most scurry off to the virtual ethers of a simulated racing scape made of mangled dreams off the shores of turn 1, we want to make sure we’re spending our time wisely. And as uncertainty flexes our unsightly fear muscles, as we witness the unraveling of our seasons, our jobs, and most of all the money that keeps these wheels a turnin’, we pause and reflect on a few pertinent questions.

From all of us at Cafe Machina, happy fu**in friday.

    #17 - Patience is a Virtue

Hey guys —the coffee machine is back! We have a bunch of episodes releasing this week, so stay tuned. As we settle into these unprecedented times,  we find ourselves at a unique crossroads. Though we can no longer share spaces, we CAN share our minds, unique thunks, and commune with the racing world at large. It’s a chaotic time, so we hope this gives you a little somethin to nibble on.

In typical Machineer form, we tangentially explore many other racing thunks you might be curious to know, such as; a victory worth sneezing over, esport races worth hacking away at, and a secret limoncello recipe. It’s all there, everything you never asked for. And If you feel so compelled, leave a review on iTunes,

#16 - Locals Only with Alessandro Bressan

This week the cafe crew is super excited to sit down for episode 16 with our first guest in the shroomhub studios — Italian ace Alessandro Bressan. We were lucky to talk to Alessandro fresh off the heels of his breakout win in the Asian Le Mans series LMP3 class last week. Alessandro’s story is a hyper unique one, going from factory karting pilot in Italy to driver coach at Dream Racing in Vegas. The leap of faith, the struggle, and ultimately the win all comes full circle in front of us. This one was damn cool.

As typical Cafe Machineer fashion, we tangentially explore many other racing thunks you might be curious to know, such as; Italian geography, the law of thirds for practical racers, and an idea for driver rebranding. It’s all there, everything you never asked for. And If you feel so compelled, once again, do all the things - leave a review on iTunes, talk shit to chris in our dms, unload your deepest regrets

A Motorsport Podcast for EVERYONE!

Probably the ONLY podcast with REAL talk about racing! TJ and Chris are two insiders that are not shy of sharing with you the ins and outs of the very deep motorsport world. You can get a lot of knowledge from each episode, and it’s easy to listen to thanks to their easy flow! I like that the talk is not limited to racing but aspects of day to day life as well, that’s why this podcast is so relatable by anyone. You don’t have to be a gearhead to enjoy it, that’s probably the best aspect! Nice talks and great guests!

Everything you (n)ever wanted

These guys are so good at what they do. Makes someone who isn’t necessarily an expert on the topic of racing feel like a pro by the end. You learn a lot, you laugh a lot, and they always leave you wanting more. The themes and topics discussed transcend racing and really boils down to what it means to be a human. Would recommend to any human.
