With racing at a standstill, all professional sports, and life as we know it, we wanted to hop back in our time pods and frolic around the fields of yesteryear... And that’s where you’ll find us — at the intersection of discussion intervention and brain soup - recapping the recent season of Formula 1 drive to survive.

We hand picked our favorite storylines, entangle ourselves in the very fabric that makes William Storey’s beard so mysterious, and poop out a product we think to be another apex that will soon be missed. Ride along BABY, take our hands, and away we go…

Indycar driver Oliver Askew and Road to Indy driver Christian Brooks sit down at the virtual cafe counter to talk sim racing! Oliver recently competed in rounds 1 and 2 of the Indycar iRacing challenge, while Christian, competed recently in the Road to Indy iRacing eSeries.

Nestled inside our shoebox shelters, while most scurry off to the virtual ethers of a simulated racing scape made of mangled dreams off the shores of turn 1, we want to make sure we’re spending our time wisely. And as uncertainty flexes our unsightly fear muscles, as we witness the unraveling of our seasons, our jobs, and most of all the money that keeps these wheels a turnin’, we pause and reflect on a few pertinent questions.

This week the cafe crew is super excited to sit down for episode 16 with our first guest in the shroomhub studios — Italian ace Alessandro Bressan. We were lucky to talk to Alessandro fresh off the heels of his breakout win in the Asian Le Mans series LMP3 class last week. Alessandro’s story is a hyper unique one, going from factory karting pilot in Italy to driver coach at Dream Racing in Vegas. The leap of faith, the struggle, and ultimately the win all comes full circle in front of us. This one was damn cool.

Dane has a stream of accolades to his name: 2 time overall IMSA champion, 2014 GTD champ, 2007 Star Mazda champ, and a Team USA Scholarship winner.
