We get to compost our food scraps. Yay!!! OrganicsLA is a curbside organics recycling program from the City of Los Angeles, mandated by Senate Bill 1383, a statewide mandate aimed at keeping organic waste out of landfills and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. This was effective January 1, 2022. California SB 1383 in a statewide effort to reduce emissions and is finally being implemented. Find out what you need to know and do, to start collecting and start composting your food scraps.
