California’s Fate Effects the WORLD - Reinette Senum is running for Governor and if she doesn’t win, we all lose Be You Podcast

    • Spirituality

This episode is a unique experience with California governor candidate Reinette Senum. Why should you care? So much of it has nothing to do with politics and you may be surprised by how the election in California will impact you no matter where you are in the world. Whatever side you lean on, we have a woman who is courageously running with no party affiliation to truly serve the people of California. This conversation is refreshing, but also confronting and challenging. It will cause you to want more and it may spark something in you that you didn’t even know was alive.

The Be You podcast is hosted by certified girl boss Jill Herman, a champion of women’s empowerment, personal development, women helping women, and being yourself without apology. Each episode features Jill’s experiences with personal development and her journey to being yourself, sometimes featuring guests who are prime examples of women helping women.

Being a girl boss no longer just refers to achievement in the workplace. Personal development and prioritizing being yourself are key ingredients in the women’s empowerment movement. Jill has built a community of women helping women so that each one can reach their full potential as the badass girl boss they are.

Whether you’re already a champion of women’s empowerment, you’re a girl boss interested in personal development, you’d like advice on being yourself, you’re looking for a community of women helping women, or you’re just here for Jill’s lessons and entertainment, the Be You podcast is for you.

Reinette Senum is a natural born leader. She has traveled to nearly 60 countries and has an incredible ability to connect to those around her no matter where she is or who she is speaking with. In 1994, she crossed Alaska by herself. It would be during this isolated winter solo trek when she filmed for National Geographic that she learned, of all things, the power of community. Ultimately, lessons learned along the trail would become the catalyst for her community work later in life. She has protested against corruption and greed for decades. She has twice served as mayor and city council member of her hometown Nevada City, California where she served with integrity regardless of how difficult the political landscape was. It was during the summer of 2020 that Reinette chose to step down from her third term on the city council because she saw a deep need for leadership at a much larger scale than she could provide in her small town. Reinette is currently running for California governor with no party affiliation.
