HE IS RISEN!

Easter is a time of great joy and celebration for Christians all around the world. It is a day that holds deep significance and meaning as we remember and honor the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Today, we gather together, whether in person or through our live stream, to rejoice and give thanks for the incredible sacrifice that Jesus made for us on the cross. As we sing praises and lift our voices in worship, we are reminded of the power and victory that comes with the resurrection. It is a time to reflect on the incredible love and grace that God has shown us through the death and resurrection of His Son. We are reminded that death has been defeated and that we have been given new life through Jesus. This is a day of hope and renewal, as we are reminded that our sins have been forgiven and that we have been made new in Christ. Today, we also have the privilege of hearing a powerful message from Pastor Joel, who will guide us in understanding the true meaning of Easter and how it impacts our lives. We are grateful for the School of Worship, who will lead us in heartfelt worship as we lift up the name of Jesus and declare His victory over sin and death. Let us come together with hearts full of gratitude and joy as we celebrate the resurrection of our King Jesus. He is risen indeed! Happy Easter to all!

Palm Sunday is a significant day in the Christian faith as it marks the beginning of Holy Week, the week leading up to Easter. On this day, we remember Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem, where he was welcomed by crowds waving palm branches and shouting 'Hosanna!' This event foreshadowed the events of the following week, where Jesus would be crucified and then rise from the dead, fulfilling the prophecy of the Messiah. As we reflect on this day, we are reminded of the humility and sacrifice of Jesus, who willingly laid down his life for our sins. It is a time for us to examine our own hearts and remember the love and grace that Jesus showed us through his death and resurrection. Today, as we worship and listen to Pastor Joel's message, let us be filled with gratitude and awe for the incredible gift of salvation that we have received through Jesus. Let us also be reminded of the power of community and coming together to celebrate our faith. Even though we may not be physically together, we are united in spirit and in our love for God. We hope that today's service will be a source of encouragement and strength for you, and that you will leave feeling refreshed and renewed in your faith.
