Christ in Death - Colossians 3:1-11 - Colossians: Christ in All

Christ in Death - Colossians 3:1-11 - Colossians: Christ in All

David Rushton continues a series in the book of Colossians: Christ in All. Paul illustrates a spiritual truth using the language of death and resurrection. In this section, we learn that believers die to the old man, they put off certain characteristics, as evidence of renewed life in Christ.

Colossians, a letter from Paul to the church of Colossae, offers a beautiful picture of who Christ is. With the knowledge of Christ's preeminence, we are able to face the external pressures on our faith. Paul encourages the reader to put on the new man and to let the knowledge of this newness in Christ guide every aspect of our life.
