The Jake Guentzel contract fell apart as did any trade involving Martin Necas.  In addition, when free agency begins Monday at noon, the expectation is that -- soon to be former -- Hurricanes players will come flying off the board, from Nashville to Newark.  Why did the Guentzel deal fall apart?  What now?  Plus a look at the Hurricanes draft and some top prospects with North American Central Scouting's Mark Seidel

With just hours until the NHL draft and days until free agency begins the Carolina Hurricanes have a LOT of business to do.  Will they sign Jake Guentzel?  What about Jordan Martinook?  Will Seth Jarvis get a long term contract or will the can be kicked down the road?  If Martin Necas is traded what do they need in return?  So many questiions and so little time to get answers.  

The Hurricanes appear ready to name Eric Tulsky as their next General Manager.  What does that mean for Carolina's offseason business?  What is next for the Canes and Martin Necas?  What should the free agent priorities be?  Adam Gold is joined by Canes Country staff writer Al Hood to discuss.

Canes President and General Manager Don Waddell resigned his position on Friday.  The team named Eric Tulsky as the interim General Manager.  The move by Waddell comes at a difficult time for the Hurricanes with 11 free agents and other decisions that need to be made before the draft which is one month away.  Adam is joined by The Athletic's Cory Lavalette to discuss.
